How to add RTMP Server as a video source (RTMP Input)

Note

This feature is available to Windows users only.

This new source allows users to add external encoders and stream keys as one of their video sources. Basically, you can add RTMP streams as your video source and then broadcast it to other platforms or connect to video calling apps.

The RTMP Input source gives you way more freedom when it comes to your live streaming setup. So, if you have professional equipment and want to make a high-quality video call, you can send the RTMP stream through ManyCam and select ManyCam as your source on your video calling platform.

Here is a quick step by step to use the RTMP Ingest:

  • Select “RTMP Server” as your video source
  • Add a Name to the server, the IP address, the port number, and your private stream key
  • Hit Save and your new video source will be added

Check out the tutorial on our blog: RTMP Ingest – What’s this new ManyCam feature and how can you use it?
