How to backup ManyCam Effects for later use

Important! Before you proceed:

make sure you have ManyCam 6.7 or higher installed. See how to update ManyCam
if you use a Mac, make sure to unlock the ~/Library folder.

Windows

Backup the files

1) Close ManyCam by pressing Ctrl+Q (make sure ManyCam is not showing on the Task Manager),
2) Press Win+R, type in %appdata% and hit Enter,
3) Navigate to the ManyCam folder,
4) Copy the files listed below to any convenient location on your computer or portable storage.

state_storage file

MacOS

Backup the files

1. Close ManyCam by pressing CMD+Q and navigate to the ManyCam folder:

/Users/USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/Visicom Media/ManyCam/

2. Copy the files listed below to any location on your computer. You can also copy them to portable storage (flash storage, USB storage, external hard drive, etc) or upload them to cloud storage.
